Mitch Billings, MVP's new marketing and sales assistant, spent the first two weeks of May traveling through Romania and Italy with the Augsburg College Concert Band. The trip began immediately after graduation, and ended with a long weekend in Rome, Italy. Over the course of ten days in Romania, the band performed five times in the towns of Campulung, Brasov, Piatra Neamt, Sibiu, and Bucharest. Throughout the trip, Mitch (and the band) sampled local cuisine, often receiving home-cooked meals from gracious Romanian families. In Italy, Mitch, along with six other friends, walked in the foot steps of Caesar himself, visiting the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain, among other historic sites. While at Augsburg, Mitch served as President of the college radio station and planned all of the major concerts on campus. He brings his love of music and marketing to MVP and its clients.
